Obituary – James (Jim) Quinn
Jim died peacefully on November 14th, 2024 at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 66.
He will be lovingly remembered by his dear wife of 41 years June, his beloved dog Pepe, and the birds Rico, Summer and Missy, step-son Russell Podmore, siblings as well as his many friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by his parents Virginia and John Quinn.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, November 28th at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 5J1.
Visitation from 1-2pm with the service to follow at 2pm and refreshments will be served following the service.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I first met Jim and June when I had moved into a new apartment 30+ years ago with my toddler. Nothing but the necessities had been unpacked and wouldn't you know it, the power went out.
I bundled up my son and knocked on my neighbours door to see if they had a flashlight. In typical fashion, Jim and June invited us in and they could tell I was a little nervous. They were very reassuring and got me a flashlight and whatever else I might have needed and I went on my way.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife June, his sister Barb and siblings as well as the many friends he has left behind.
Brian and I are deeply saddened by Jim's passing.
