In memory of

張惠沾先生 James Fuey Chong

December 20, 1933 -  May 4, 2017

Passed peacefully at age 83, after a three decade long battle with prostate cancer, quietly fought. Beloved husband of Brenda Kee Sheung, cherished father of Dennis (Michelle Lewis), Laura (Malcolm), Peter, and Nancy (Perry). Proud Gung Gung to Andrew, Neil, and Sara. He also leaves devoted nephews and nieces in Australia and California. Following his father’s footsteps, he left Guangdong, China at the age of 15, attended Central Tech High School, struggled to make ends meet running a diner restaurant, and eventually returned to study Drafting and Engineering Technology. He was a man of integrity and modesty, and was a wealth of knowledge without ever having consulted Google! He loved his family dearly, and left us with wonderful childhood memories of road trips and adventure.
We are grateful to Drs. Alan Smith, Breffni Hannon, Danielle Kain, and Princess Margaret Hospital for their expert care and kindness, and donations in lieu of flowers to PMH would be appreciated.

It was a privilege to have known Jim. He was a modest man of true integrity who cared deeply for his family.
He and Brenda raised four remarkable children all of whom 'did them proud' not only in their academic and professional achievements but their strength of character . He leaves a wonderful legacy in the family values and ethic of hard work he and Brenda imbued in them.
I am proud to have 'shared' a beloved daughter and grandsons with Jim and only wish I had got to know him better.

Dear Laura,

To my old fiend and our lifelong neighbours, please accept our deepest sympathies for your family's loss. May the fond memories of your father bring you comfort and know that my family is here to support your family in any way we can.

Blessings,
The Lee and Lam Families
