Barrett, James, Frederick (Jim) - Passed away peacefully early Monday, June 18, 2018, beloved husband to Margaret (nee Phelan), loving father to Mary Lou (Jerry Patava), Patty (Robert Bingham), Jim (Marilyn), Fred (Karen), Marnie (Ian McLeod) and proud Papa to Jamie, Lauren, Cameron, Emily, Kaleigh, Jessie, Scott, Daniel, Kristen, Sean and Sarah. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Myra and his sister Marian. Caring brother-in-law to Patricia and special Uncle Jim to many nieces and nephews. Jim was a long time employee of Continental Can Co. in New Toronto. His greatest pleasures were spent outdoors, fishing and hunting and frequent visits Sparrow Lake. Our heartful gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff at Westbury Long Term Care. In lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 19, 2018 from 7-9 pm and Memorial Service Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with Reception to follow at The Simple Alternative Funeral Center, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario L4W 5J1.
