It is with deep sadness that the family of Jagiri Sehgal announces his passing on April 23, 2020 at the Credit Valley Hospital after a brief illness. Jagiri was born in 1934 in Nakodar, India to Babu Ram and Shanti Sehgal. In 1955 Jagiri moved to England with his brothers. He graduated from the College of Aeronautical Engineering in London, England and embarked on a career as an aeronautical engineer. Jagiri met his wife Heidi in England and together with their children emigrated to Canada in 1969, living first in Montreal, Quebec and then moving to Mississauga, Ontario in 1977. Jagiri worked for Air Canada for 27 years as an engineer retiring in 1996. Jagiri enjoyed spending hours cooking, working in his beautiful garden and as a volunteer at the Credit Valley Hospital for 22 years. Jagiri will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Heidi, daughter Denise (Richard), son Ralph (Mary-Ann) and his grandchildren, Haley, Jake and Cole Besworth and Matthew Sehgal. Jagiri is also survived by his brother Sohan and sister Dulari and many other family members in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England.

A private family service will be held and a celebration of life will be held at a future date. The family would like to thank the staff at Credit Valley Hospital and Credit River Retirement Home for their wonderful and dedicated care in the last few months.
