It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jade Seto-Chong. Born in Hong Kong, Jade was raised in Toronto, Canada, as a cherished member of a family of six. Jade, the daughter of John and Jean Seto, was surrounded by the love of her siblings: Yen, Mona, and Jack. She built a life of enduring companionship with her beloved husband Edward, a union that spanned an incredible 43 years. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Christopher (Lily), Vanessa, and Andrew (Sylvia). She was a loving grandmother to the delightful Emmy. Her caring nature and selflessness touched the lives of those around her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of family and friends alike. Often described as the "life of the party," Jade exuded an infectious positivity that illuminated every gathering. Jade embraced a vibrant and active lifestyle including conquering the challenges of a full marathon, skiing, golfing, hiking, and fitness. She had a passion for travel, gardening, cooking, reading and was also an avid fan of the Toronto Raptors and Blue Jays. Jade leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and an incredible life well-lived. May her memory be a source of comfort, and may we celebrate the extraordinary woman who enriched our lives with her radiant energy and unwavering love.
