SULLIVAN, Deanna Jacqueline “Jackie” (nee Hayes)

Jackie passed away peacefully after a courageous battle on Saturday November 26, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 81. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill Sullivan (2016). Loving mother of Adam (Tina) and Stacey (Jeff). Proud grandmother of Bayley, Reilly, Brett, Peyton, Faith, Jelissa, Rebecca, Rheanna and Alicia. Loving sister of Ron (Isabel) Hayes. Jackie spent 35 active years working as an RN in several hospitals across Ontario. The family would like to thank the nurses of 4F for all their care and compassion. As per her own wishes, no formal funeral services will take place and a Celebration of Jackie’s life will be held by the family in the future. Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787).

Aunt Jackie was awesome. The rock of the family when the kids were growing up.
She will be missed here but I'm sure she is having a great time with Bill again :)

Stacey and Adam: We are saddened to read of Jackie's passing. With a twinkle in her eyes, and a great sense of humor, I will always remember her sitting next to her beloved, Bill, with his arm wrapped protectively around her shoulders, teasing him saying that she only married him for his spare parts. An extraordinary love and an amazing family.
