In memory of

Jackie Damario

February 17, 1948 -  January 25, 2020

Jackie Damario (Rogers), passed away peacefully at Bridgepoint Health Centre on January 25, 2020, after her courageous battle with cancer.

Loving Mother, along with their father Dan, of Paul (Terry) and Jeffrey (Shannon). Proud Nanny of Patrick, Ashley, Jordyn, Dylan, and Ella. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Cliff, Lorne, Don, Bob, Jean, Joyce, Joan, and June.

Jackie leaves behind her sisters Judy and Janet, and brother Wayne, along with a very large family and many friends.

Jackie lived life to the absolute fullest. She loved spending time outdoors, playing baseball, skiing and hiking and loved her weekly card games with the girls.

A special thanks to her man servant Ron.

In consideration of flowers, a donation to Bridgepoint Foundation or Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

My condolences and prayer during this difficult time. She was surround by your love and I know that meant the world to her. I had the pleasure of meeting most of you, including those who have passed. I felt your warmth and love just being with you. Keep each other as close as you do.

I have had many, many fun times with this crazy girl. Mount Tremblant, Webster Falls and of course baseball to name a few. She would pass me on the hill. Be at one with nature during our long walks and adventurous hikes and provide positive reinforcement to all who played ball with her. Of course all these moments included her pal Dar.

My favourite line to her.. I wanna be just like you when I grow up. Love and laughter. Simple.

I’ll be seeing ya! Rest up. I’m coming in like I’m sliding into first base.... fresh and exciting, always. ❤️
