It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ivan John Viscovic on November 25,2024 with family by his side. Loving husband of Natalie, Božica for 57 years. Beloved father of Diana (Goran) Bebek, Doris (Tony) Quick, cherished Dido of Franko(Jade) and Nono of Isaiah and Michael. Ivan will be missed by his sister Romana(Angelo), predeceased by his sister Adelia (Šime), and brother Luciano and family. Always lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews and extended family and friends in Canada, U.S, Croatia and Australia.

Ivan worked as a Mechanic and Welder and enjoyed his free time playing soccer, fishing and playing bocce ball at the Croatian club. He enjoyed music and especially loved Elvis. He cherished his time with his grandsons and family and will always be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand, humour and love of life.

Special thank you to the staff at AgeCare Samac who were angels of mercy during his last hours.

Visitation will be held at Thornton Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa (south of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd., 905-579-6787) on Monday December 16, 2024 from 4-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 17, 2024, at 11 am at St. Mary of the People Parish, 570 Marion Ave. Oshawa.

In lieu of flowers if you wish please consider a donation in Ivan's memory to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Alzheimer Society of Canada.
