In memory of

Isobel Dalton

April 5, 1929 -  July 16, 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Isobel Dalton (nee McNicol) in her 95th year, on July 16th, 2023. She was surrounded and comforted with her family by her side.

Isobel is predeceased by her beloved husband Jack and son Rick. She is survived by her son Ron, daughters-in-law, Lorraine and Lee Ann, grandchildren Jennifer (Scott), John (Ashley), Anna, Joshua (Holly) and Zachary (Samantha) and great grandchildren James, Avery, Kate, Hazel and Caedmon

Born on April 5th, 1929, Isobel lived a full and rich life. With Jack as her lifelong companion, they loved traveling the world, dining out and spending every summer at the family cottage on Crystal Lake. She enjoyed Jack’s cooking, trips to the casino and her half of a glass of wine in the evening. Isobel was a great golfer, the best baker, a natural knitter and a green-thumbed gardener. But most of all, Isobel loved being a Nana.

Isobel will be laid to rest at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre on Wednesday July 19th. Friends and family are welcome for a 1:00 visitation, 2:00 service with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Alzheimer Society of Canada.

A woman who would welcome you into her heart and cherish every moment, family was always first and foremost with Auntie, Helen Auntie and I have created memories on our road trips that will forever be in our hearts, tears would flow from laughter, there will be a strong meeting of the hearts in heaven with all who were dear to her, they’ve waited along time for her but she was cherished here now and forever💕
