Isabella Ann McGilvray Conely

February 1, 1926 - March 19, 2020

Isabella Conely passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19th, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Centre – Whitby. Loving wife of the late James Conely (1979) and beloved Mother of Ian (predeceased by daughter-in-law, Norma) and Glen (Ana). Cherished Grandmother of Jaime, Cheryl, Scott, Amanda, Steven and Christina and Great-grandmother of Jade, Mason and Madison. She was the loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada, United States and Scotland. Isabella was predeceased by her siblings Edward (Eddie), Archibald (Archie), James (Jimmy), Elizabeth (Bette) and Mary (Molly).

A very special and heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful nurses at Lakeridge Health – Whitby for their care and support. And a special thank you to the recreation team and cleaning staff for being so kind and helpful to Isabella during her time at Lakeridge Health – Whitby.

Cremation to take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Funeral and Cremation Centre. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lakeridge Health Centre – Whitby 4th Floor. 300 Gordon Street, Whitby, Ontario L1N 5T2.

You were the best Mom a son could ask for. You will be greatly missed by Ana, Steven, Christina and myself. Our lives will not be the same without you in it. At least now there will be no suffering. You are in a better place and, for that, we are grateful. We will never forget you. Love Glen
