May 13, 1931 - May 16, 2024

We are all heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Isabel Matilda Morrissette on May 16, 2024, in Dartmouth General Hospital, at the age of 93. Many thanks to the professional and attentive staff who cared for mom during her stay. Isabel was born May 13, 1931, in East York, Toronto, Ontario. Loving mother to Betty-Anne (deceased), John (Vicki), Jimmy (Carolyn), Kevin (Liz), Tommy (Gloria), Judy (Philip), Pat (William), Bobby (Trish), 19 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her good friend Shirley Sampson of Nova Scotia.

Mom, Mother, Ma, Is, Nana, Nanny, Grammie, Nanabel, may you rest in peace. We all love and miss you.

There are no words to describe the loss of my Mother In Law. I am at a loss without her, we had a wonderful relationship. We certainly made a lot of wonderful memories in the 7 years she lived with us. I will miss her more than words can describe. You are now an ANGEL and I hope you fly high and R.I.P.

I’ll miss you Isabel. While I didn’t get to spend as much time with you as I’d have liked, I know you as a wonderful woman. Without you, Bob would not have been here to be in my life since the day I was born. The times I did get to spend with you were full of laughter. Especially when I visited NS back in 2019.
