Irma Matthews

December 20, 1943 - June 21, 2021

Irma Matthews was born in Freetown Antigua on December 20, 1943. She came to Canada on a work program in 1968, where she worked for a family in Northern Ontario. Before moving to Toronto, she worked for a family for a few years, followed by obtaining employment with Manulife Insurance. She attended Oakwood Wesleyan Church for a number of years before becoming a member. Since then, she was heavily involved in church work and was active until her death on June 21, 2021. She was willing to help whenever needed and did so joyfully. She will be missed.

The funeral will be held at Oakwood Wesleyan Church, by invitation only.
