In memory of

Irene Wong

March 9, 1960 -  August 20, 2025

Irene Wong passed away peacefully on August 20th 2025 at age 65.

In her lifetime, Irene was a beacon of light and a devoted wife and mother. She brought warmth, comfort and love to those around her wherever she went and seized every opportunity to rock everyday like a fashion runway.

Irene left a positive energy and a trail of cheerfulness on all of her adventures. She spent every waking moment being there for the ones she loved. Irene was the compass key to her family constantly pointing in the right direction. She always had time for a chit chat in the wee hours of the morning in any time zone, time to cheer you on from any sideline and time to soothe the soul with her cooking which felt like a warm hug and a kiss.

Irene is survived by her loving husband, Howie of 41 years, her two girls Steph and Liz and their partners Sujee and Pete.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Irene Wong and her legacy will be held at York Funeral Centre on Friday, August 29, 2025. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. with the celebration of life beginning at 10:00 a.m.
