In memory of

Irene Beatrice Hyatt

March 29, 1939 -  November 24, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my beautiful partner Irene on Monday, November 24th at Southlake Hospital. She passed, holding my hand, with a heart attack and other complicated issues. She was the beloved wife of Paul and devoted mother to Tim, Rick, David and Jason, beloved sister of Rick (Robin), Valerie, Sylvia, and Carol, her wonderful daughter in laws Julie, Joanne and Moon, and to her dearly loved grandchildren James, Benjamin, Matthew, Megan, lan and Shannon.
She played several roles in a number of productions, as well as memberships in a number of choirs.
She taught school in Scarborough as a primary teacher, loved to travel and always enjoyed our cottage life. From high school sweethearts to young marrieds, to becoming a mother and soon a grandmother, Irene leaves behind her legacy of kindness, modesty, thoughtfulness and caring. We feel blessed that she was part of our lives and her spirit and love will be with us forever. She will be sorely missed.

Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke society in memory of Irene.

Irene was so much more than a sister-in-law. She was a dear friend, a confidante and an incredible part of my life. I will miss her dearly.

Irene was the very best sister-in-law that one could have wanted. She was thoughtful,
kind, a great Mother and a loving and supportive wife to my brother.

I am saddened to hear of Irene's passing, and my thoughts are with everyone in the family. I was just looking through family pictures with my daughter Natalie the other day, and I was telling her about the joy of having such a wonderfully large and loving family. There are many that include Irene and everyone else that my mom, Olly, cherished so dearly. I don't know all of the stories behind each of the photographs, but I know the moments were filled with love, because it can be seen in the smiles, laughter, and friendship that will always be frozen in time. Love to you all, Cindy
