In memory of

Iwonka Pienczykowska

October 19, 1940 -  January 2, 2022

In loving memory of Iwonka Pieńczykowska, who passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after struggling with health issues on the evening of January 2nd, 2022. Born in Białystok, Poland to Helenka and Edward Kudaszewicz, Iwonka had a creative role working in the theatre as a wig professional. Married to Leszek Pieńczykowski on August 10th, 1961, they soon after started a family with two children, Eliza and Jacek. Due to the nature of Leszek's work, the Pieńczykowskis had the opportunity to move from Poland to Libya, travel to Italy, and eventually immigrate to Toronto, Canada. Iwonka was a loving grandmother to two granddaughters, Eliza's daughter Julie, and Jacek and Dorotka's daughter Mecheala. She had many fond memories in nature, travelling to Western Canada to the Rocky Mountains, and up north to the cottage in Kaszuby during the summer. Her outgoing personality, loving and caring nature, quick wit and sassy spirit will always be remembered by everyone. Her spirit will live on forever in our hearts. We would like to extend our thanks to her loyal family and friends, and ask that you keep Iwonka in your prayers.
