Iralee Anderson

December 18, 1925 -  March 11, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother Iralee Anderson, who peacefully passed away surrounded by her children on March 11,2025, at the age of 99. She was born on December 18, 1925, in St Catherines Jamaica to her loving parents Eliza and Alexander Williams.

Iralee worked in the hospitality Industry for over 25 years, she loved to serve people and was well respected by all who knew her as well as those who crossed her path. she was a devoted Christian whose faith was the cornerstone of her life.

Iralee is now reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Edgar Anderson, and her son, Carl Anderson, she is survived by her sister, Leveta Allison and her children Doxie, Dawn, Donald, Sonia, Carol and stepchildren Irma, and Derek she leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Our mother will be dearly missed, her warmth, love, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A service will be held to celebrate her life on April 5th, 2025, at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre- 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, ON. A viewing will be held on the day from 9:30am to 11am, Service will commence 11:00am - 12:30pm, with Burial to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to join us in honouring her memory. To accommodate those who could not be with us in person, a link to livestream the service will become available at the top of this page at approximately 10:45 am on Saturday, April 5th.

A private Family gathering will be held at the Funeral Centre following the interment at 1:30 pm


In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Diabetes Foundation and Cancer society in her memory.
