I will miss you greatly, dad. It won’t be easy to navigate in this world without you. You were such a great parent, mentor and teacher. I will smile at the memories of you teaching me how to make the “World’s best French fries.” I have somehow convinced myself that dying is like going to the restaurant and someone reserves the table and when it’s our time we meet you there. We will celebrate over French jazz, steaks and fine port! Love you dad, and thank you for the last 15 years rest peacefully now.

Ion and I worked closely together for about 4 years from 2017-2021. Ion and my relationship was more than consultant and he became a close friend and we shared many lively discussions and dinners together working all hours of the day. In fact, Ion came to our home for Christmas day/dinner where he met my wife and children. His friendly demeanor made him an instant hit with everyone. I always knew Ion to be a real gentleman, possessing a unique sense of humour, and all the while a very proficient electronics hardware and software designer. I will miss Ion both as an electronics designer and as a friend
