Barkas, Ioannis (John) - Peacefully passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 88. John is survived by his son Vasilis and daughter Vaitsa. Dearly missed by his brother Anthony and sister in law Kleoniki, his sister Marika and sister in-laws Toula and Foula and his nieces Oly, Vaitsa, Lina and Vaia, his nephews Tinos, George and their families. John will be remembered by many family and friends.

Visitation at the PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Thursday, January 26th from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, January 27th in Pine Hills Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment to follow.
