驚聞董媽媽回歸天家,May God give her soul eternal peace and a safe resting place with him. Our prayers for God’s comfort are with you and your family right now.
Ingrid was a beautiful young lady. She remained kind and thoughtful throughout her life.
My sincerest condolences for you at this time. You have my deepest sympathy and unwavering support. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow.
My condolences. I'm really sad. My childhood grew up with the Tung family. Last night, I was still talking with Mimi about how frequently I got to visit the Tung family in Taiwan especially when both of our families had maids A-vi/A-ghioud (阿美/阿玉) that are siblings. Aunt Ingrid had always said that she'll attend my wedding. Even though a few years ago I did bring my significant other Mimi to Indiana expecting to meet her, she couldn't come at that family reunion. At least Mimi did get to video chat with her. I do miss Aunt Ingrid from time to time, especially after not meeting each other for so many years. Recently, I just planned my next Taiwan trip to including a visit to our grandparents hometown @ Wia-lai (湖内) to look for 阿美/阿玉 neighbors (as I just remembered recently that they lived there!). Hoping they're still around. In 2016, for the first time going back there after 42 years, I made 2 separate trips (6-months apart) in order to meet Lei-zua (王麗珠) the “popsicle shop” lady, who was a close friend of our grandparents as well as Aunt Elanor's student. She was extremely touched/emotional to see me & kept talking about how frequently she had visited our grandparents. All her siblings & parents had already passed away (due to illness). Glad we had a video together & shown at our Indiana family reunion. She died of breast cancer only about half year after I showed up at her door step. Our elder family members were lucky to have left this hometown early, as it had become a cancer town, according the current residents.
I would like to attend this service with my mom.
