Surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Ingrid died peacefully on November 8th with Robin, Shawn, Heather and close friend,Sue by her side, at her residence in North York at the age of 81. Ingrid was predeceased by her husband Jean Pierre in 2006 and then her partner, Dennis Arbour in 2020.
Ingrid was a devoted and loving mother to Richard (Susan) Connery, Robin Connery (Wayne Daniels), and Shawn (Heather) Connery. She was the cherished grandmother of Tod (Shilo) Webster, Darrin (Samantha) Webster, Alicia Webster, Elyse Connery (John Kennedy), Steven Connery (Raeanne McAlpine), Shelby Connery (Jacob Angel), and Matthew Connery. Adored great-grandma of Dylan Webster (Moira Drennan), Dakota Webster, Devon Webster, Kloe Webster, Darien Webster, Drayden Doucette, Halen Kennedy and Edward Angel. Ingrid will be fondly remembered by her sister, Rotraud (Gary) Page, her nephew Jason (Monalisa) Page, and her niece Deirdre Page-Atkins (Trevor Atkins).
Ingrid kind spirit and presence with be sorely missed by her Cedar Beach family in Stouffville, her Florida family in Clearwater, her work family at North York General Hospital, her Canadian Legion family also in Stouffville, and her lifelong and new friends who she loved and treated like they were her own family
Ingrid had a long and distinguished career at North York General Hospital where she worked as a Diagnostic Imaging Administrator. She loved life and making new memories. She enjoyed sharing the good times and long talks with the company of her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 25th, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centres – Pickering, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers and in Ingrid’s memory, donation may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
