In memory of

Inger Elisabeth Holm

March 10, 1919 -  August 13, 2019

Surrounded by her loving family, Inger died peacefully at Kensington Gardens on Tuesday August 13th, 2019, at the age of 100. Her great joy in life was her family, which includes four children (Erling, Svend, Anne-Marie, and Elsebeth), eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to serving others. From a small Meals-on-Wheels service to seniors, she founded and became Executive Director of Downsview Services for Seniors (now Lumacare).

The family is grateful for the loving care she received in Kensington and the doctors and nurses at Toronto Western Hospital. Memorial donations may be made to the Danish Lutheran Church, Lumacare, or Kensington Gardens.

To the Holm and Lappano families,

I’m very sorry for your loss. She was a remarkable woman. The love she showed her family and what you showed in return was a strong and inspirational example.

All the very best
