Thank you mom for giving me everything I needed to be strong, kind and giving like you. You were always available to help anyone in need. I’m so thankful that you allowed me to journey with you during your most trying time. You are at rest now and I will miss you dearly. Our Lord called you home and now we must go on without our leader. You were loved as I know were we by you. Rest In Peace Mom.

Hello Elizabeth. I am lighting a candle in the church for your mum before Our Lady of the Rosary. Your mum has the nicest smile. I will keep her in my prayers today and for all the family. And will remember you on Friday when you offer a tribute of your love to God in gratitude for her kindness and all her many sacrifices for her family and friends. With my blessing. Fr. Boyd SJ

Nana will be remembered as a talented artist, with an adventurous soul. As a child, we would go for walks in the marsh, enjoy the outdoors, constructing a fairy garden, and crafting on the sewing machine together. I'll never forget the taste of her delicious plum dumplings! I always admired her paintings, and enjoyed listening to her ghost story tales. I am so grateful for the time we had together, Nana you will be dearly missed!

Ina was my next door neighbor when
I was just 2 years old. Her daughter Liz was my first friend. Our families have kept in touch over the years which is such a blessing in these busy times.

What I will remember most about Ina is that she always had a smile on her face and a kind word. I remember what a great cook and baker she was.
It was always very specal to have a bowl of her homemade bread pudding with a hot cup of tea. She knew how much that I appreciate art and would always be excited to show me her most recent oil paintings that she created.

When my own mom was really sick, Ina would drive all the way to Toronto to visit her. That shows the kind of heart that Ina had for people.

God Bless You Ina, you made the world a better place. Rest in Peace.🌿

Around the age of 12 mom was sent to an all girls residence the Czechoslovakia. One night the door to the bedroom was locked which never was the case because the bathroom was out in the hallway. The girls were somewhat frightened thinking it must be a ghost. However their fear was soon overcome with a strong urge to pee. Having no ability to open the door they helped one another by holding onto the arms so they could pee out the window. It must have been a fun time, like girls camp. Hitler sent the children to this camp because the war was intense and he wanted to protect their future. He's still an ass though.
