In memory of

Ian Turner

January 31, 1944 -  October 20, 2023

Ian Turner, age 79 passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, surrounded by his entire family.

Born in Johnstone, Scotland, the first of four children, born to Mary and George Turner and brother to George, Christopher and David. He immigrated to Canada in 1966, where he met and married Linda Aline Baribault and was married for 56 wonderful years. He had 3 children, Derek (Ruth), Stephen (Jessica) and Bruce (Grace) and 6 grandchildren, Emily, Macey, Cameron, Cheyenne, Jasmine and Jude.

He worked at IBM/Celestica for 37 years.

He will be forever missed for the guidance, love and understanding that he provided both as a father, and as a grandfather.

The love he shared with his wife Linda for the last 56 years is an example of what a marriage should be.
