Hyung-Sun Jennie Ahn

January 6, 1963 -  May 20, 2020

Hyung-Sun (Jennie) Ahn, 57, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 20, 2020 after a valiant battle with Breast Cancer at her home in Toronto, Ontario.

Jennie was born on January 6, 1963 to Pyong-Il Won and Sun-Ja Chung in Seoul, South Korea. When she was 9, her family moved to Ontario where she later attended Fanshawe college to pursue Fashion. She was creative and talented and made clothing and jewelry for herself many times.

Jennie met Joon Ho Ahn in 1985. They were married on April 29, 1986 in Seoul, South Korea. Together they raised 3 children: Julia Ahn, Anna Ahn, Matthew Ahn.

She was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She also loved reading and watching Marvel/action movies. She relished the opportunity to go on vacations and riding cruises with her husband. She enjoyed sharing laughter with those she loved and she was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around her with her bubbly personality.

She is survived by her husband, Joon and their children Julia, Anna and Matthew.

The family has entrusted York Cemetery with the arrangements. An event is scheduled for May 22, 2020 2pm at York Cemetery funeral center. Due to Covid-19 visitation and service is limited to 10 people and is by invite only.
