Phạm Thùy Hương, loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, while bravely facing cancer. Hương was born on March 9, 1963 in Vientiane, Laos. Her family fled the country after the Vietnam War, staying in refugee camps until they were sponsored to Saskatoon, Canada in 1979. Over the next year, her family moved to Ontario, where she eventually met her husband, Phát Diệp. Hương loved to cook, crochet, play with the family cats, and travel the world. She took great joy in sharing her cooking and creating elaborate throws for family and friends. She loved to learn, she would always have a notebook beside her filled with facts, recipes and definitions. Her friends and family knew her for her kind and compassionate nature, always putting others first. She will be missed more than any words can express by her husband of 37 years, Phát Diệp; daughters Monica and Melissa; son-in-law Jonathan; mother Đào Thị Tuyết; and eight siblings Ngọc, Thaí, Huyền, Phương, Quang, Dũng, Tuấn, Loan. Visitation will be held at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres - 7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton, ON L6Y 5L5, on Sunday, August 25th from 12PM to 2PM.
