Mrs. Huong Thi Tran (née Trinh), of Toronto, Canada passed away at Toronto General Hospital, surrounded by her family on September 27, 2018. She was 86 years old.

Huong is survived by her husband, Dat Chuong Tran; her children, Cuong Quoc Tran (& Dung Tran) and Dat Tran (& Dee Tran); her six grandchildren and their spouses; her three great-grandchildren; and countless number of loving relatives and close friends.

A generous, loving and selfless homemaker, Huong was the matriarch of her family. She dedicated and sacrificed much through her life so that the family could grow and establish a family business. The success of the family afforded her the opportunity to travel the world, enriching her life and the lives of the family and friends she visited. Her caring nature has garnered her their love and respect and has enabled her to live a full and happy life.

Our family is deeply grateful for the outpour of love and support. We want to especially thank the Toronto General Hospital where Huong was well cared for by the fine staff of the hemodialysis unit. As a regular patient for several years, the medical team and patients became her extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto General Hospital to support their continued care.
