In memory of

Hung Fook "Johnson" Wan

August 19, 1951 -  February 6, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hung Fook “Johnson” Wan on February 6, 2025 in Toronto. Johnson is survived by his wife Lai Ying “Amy” Shum, daughter Vivian (Kevin) Wan, grandchildren Jayden Yue and Chloe Yue, and sister Betty Wan.

Born in Hong Kong on August 19, 1951, Johnson immigrated to Canada in 1991 with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Vivian. Johnson’s first and foremost goal in life was always clear: ensuring the happiness and prosperity of his family. One of his proudest accomplishments was obtaining his CPA designation to help provide for his family. No matter the topic, Johnson would always prioritize his family’s interests ahead of his own.

Known by loved ones for his positivity, generosity, and easygoing demeanour, Johnson could light up a room with his radiant smile. He had many passions in life including soccer, music, mah-jong, fashion, and cars, but nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his two grandchildren. His smile was always greatest when he partook in their favourite activities; hockey with Jayden and colouring with Chloe.

Deeply missed, Johnson will forever be remembered by adoring family and friends for the precious time shared together.

We are so sorry and very sad for your loss. Know that we will always be beside you as you grieve and supporting you always.

We will miss Johnson's love, simplicity & gentle manner, which we always admire. He had so much more to offer, but gone too early. We are very grateful for the time we had with him.

Rest in Peace in Heaven, Johnson.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
