Dear family, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your father, father in law, grandfather, grandfather in law, great-grandfather. He was a very special and nice man. My uncle who lived furthest away, but also my favorite one with whom I had a very special bond despite the great distance. Stayed several times with him and you, first a few times in Downsview and later in Stouffville. And also the countless dinners together when I was in Toronto for work. Everytime he drove the long distance from Mississauga to downtown Toronto, sometimes through real rough winter weather. So many fond memories! I feel privileged to have been able to visit him for a few days less than a month ago. Collected so many stories, serious and also with a lot of laughter. (Thank hou Jacquie en Jenny for permitting me so much time with him). He will be greatly missed, in the first place by you, but also here in the Netherlands. For sure l will miss him a lot. Wish you all a lot of strength with this great loss. Hope you can be a great support to each other.

Dad,
Here I am, missing you so much already. The loss I'm feeling is heartbreaking.
Watching you over the past month's and witnessing the strength you tried to show us, as so, not to see your inner pain.
How your eyes lit up and the joy you showed when seeing your great grandchildren will forever stay with me. They were truly the light of your life in the past years.
I will hold you close in my heart and I promise, those kids will grow up knowing how much you loved them.
May you be at peace
Until we meet again
I love you
Jen
