In memory of

吳肖凤女士 Hsiao Feng (Shelley) Kuan

July 1, 1941 -  May 27, 2024

Hsiao Feng (Shelley) Kuan passed away peacefully early in the morning of May 27, 2024 with her daughter, Cyndy, by her side. Shelley was predeceased by her husband, Tso-Lin, and will be profoundly missed by Cyndy, her son-in-law, Rich, and her cherished grandchildren, Sage and Justin, who affectionately called her “Po Po”. Shelley will be lovingly remembered by extended family and friends. Shelley was predeceased by her parents, Hau Kie Ng and Kam Ying Fong and her sister, Man Lai Ng. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Angie Wong, her brother, Thomas Ng (Hady Shu) and her youngest sister, Emmi Wong. Shelley was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, a caring friend, an avid bridge player, voracious reader, and classical music lover; a true Renaissance woman. Shelley was thankful for the beautiful life she and Tso-Lin built in Canada.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the multitude of health care professionals who provided excellent care over many years including Shelley’s GP and the various divisions at Toronto General Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital and St. Michael’s Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, we appreciate memorial donations be made to Hennick Bridgepoint Foundation or UHN Foundation.

I was so sorry to hear of Shelley’s passing. My condolences to her family especially her daughter.
It was always a pleasure to play against Shelley at the bridge club . She was always so pleasant and friendly but still a fierce competitor.
May she rest in peace.

We have known Shelley for a very long time. First at Cavendish Bridge Club and then at Thornhill Bridge Club. We have spent many New Year's Evenings with her at bridge parties. She was a lovely person, always friendly and with her big smile ready to greet you and have a chat. Ray & Gail Jotcham

We often saw Shelley at the bridge table, she was always friendly and had a welcoming smile. In later years we played on line with her. Sorry for your loss, she will certainly be missed by all of the bridge community. Roland Althoff and Catherine Brown
