In memory of

Howard Smith

June 22, 1939 -  June 4, 2025

Howard passed June 4, 2025 in his 86th year after more than 3 months in hospital following a broken hip and subsequent surgery.
Born in Toronto, he was the son of the late Howard George Sr. and Muriel Smith (nee Gardner). Loving brother to the late Diane Muriel Smith.
Howard worked for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation for 32 years in the Motor Vehicle Offices at Queen's Park, Oshawa and Downsview as a supervisor.
Much of Howard's childhood, youth and adult years were spent at the family cottage, Crooked Bay, Six Mile Lake, Muskoka. The property, bought as crown land by his parents, and for years boat access only and off-grid, was the centre of the family's social and recreation life since 1958.
Howard leaves cousins in Ontario and BC and their children/grandchildren and a circle of close friends.
