In memory of

Hortense Brown

May 18, 1942 -  December 13, 2021

Hortense “Veronica” Brown was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on December 13, 2021 at the age of 79. She was born on May 18, 1942 in Jamaica. Hortense met the love of her life Alexander Brown in London, England and shortly after married him on May 28, 1965. Together, they had one son, Kevin. Veronica loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. She was an angel on earth to many as she showered loved to all those she met with her genuine heart of giving.

You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back or you can see all that she has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of love that you shared.

On behalf of Lewis-Ferron Family (Georgia Lewis, Jr. & Jason Ferron) we would like to offer our deepest condolences. Had it not been for Aunty’s compassion for family, I would not be where I am today. I pray Uncle and the rest of family find Peace in this time.
