It is with great sadness the family of Tran, Hoc Hien announces his passing on August 23rd, 2023. Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Hien passed at the age of 71.

Hien will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Chantal; children, Quyen, Sandy, Mike, Justin (Gauthier); grandchildren, Stephanee, Nicole, Alexa, Isabella, Amelie; his siblings; family members and friends.

A viewing and funeral will be held for Hien at 9:30am on September 1st, 2023, at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd E, Richmond Hill, ON.

Contributions/donations will go towards a personal charity in Vietnam. Hien, and his wife Chantal, often visited the remote towns when they visited Vietnam, as they felt it is important to help those less fortunate by providing food and basic supplies.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Lakeridge Health Hospital (Oshawa) for their care and compassion.
