RIP Daddy! We miss you so much! Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for us. You'll always be in my heart!

You came from China with only a torn T-shirt and you had nothing. With your hard work and endurance, you were able to raise a family with 6 siblings. You provided us with a comfortable home and you never asked for anything in return but only that we study and work hard to build a better future for ourselves.

In Canada, you worked 7 day, and 12 hours for so many years which caused you pain then but you never gave up, which had you suffered later in life. You did it for all of us so that we were provided for comfortably. You didn't drink nor smoke so that you could save money for the family, yet you were generous and donated to various causes and communities, and associations. For those people who got to know you, you had a kind and big heart. You had helped so many people in the past and had many good friends.

Back in Luangprabang, you funded our Chinese school so those in poverty could go to school for a very small fee. You helped those in poverty, which debt they owed and never paid back, but you just smiled and said that it was alright as they had nothing to pay you back but that they would always be thankful. You were well-respected and known for your kind soul. You were well-known throughout Luangprabang as "Ai Tui Thaheume" (chubby man by Mekong River) with the most respect for your generosity. We had so many relatives that came and lived with us and you would always welcome them with an open heart.
