In loving memory of Hildegard Gertrude Thielmann. Hilde passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital after a brief illness. Hilde was the beloved wife of Bruno (predeceased), loving mother of Walter (Connie), Paul (Pinky), proud grandmother of Michael, Nicole (Mike), Quin, Bayley and great-grandmother to Max. Survived by her youngest sister Elli. Hilde survived World War 2 in Europe and fortunately then immigrated to Canada with her whole family. She worked alongside her husband to establish a good life and successful business. Hilde loved her cottage at the lake and her vegetable garden in the city. She devoted her life to her family and was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made in her honour to North York General Hospital or Baycrest Brain Research Foundation. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29th, 2023 from 10:30am - 11:00am followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00am at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Toronto).
