Herta Kalisch

June 23, 1932 - August 1, 2018

KALISCH, Herta passed away peacefully on August 1st 2018 at the age of 86. She leaves in sorrow her beloved son Henry, loving daughter-in-law Teresa, cherished granddaughter Veronica. Her sister Hilde in Toronto and her siblings back home in Germany.

Henry and Teresa welcome friends and family to gather in a celebration of life on Thursday, August 9th from 6pm - 8pm at York Funeral Centre.

In lieu of flowers, Herta and her fond love for animals would rather have donations sent to the Toronto Humane Society or a animal shelter of your choice. Donations can also be made to Heart and Stroke foundation.

I am so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing, Henry. My thoughts are with you, Teresa, and Veronica.
I think fondly of your mom...She was a really kind, warm, and friendly person. I specifically remember the chats we had about our boys...she always took a calm, non judgemental, wise approach that gave me a better lens to consider the situations.
I hope the wonderful memories of your mom will sustain you and your family through this difficult time.
