Passed away peacefully in Burlington on February 16, 2021 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his wife, Gilda Pereira (2019) of 65 years. Loving father of Judite Teixeira (Norberto); Grandfather of Marvin Teixeira and Michelle Teixeira; and Great Grandfather of Spencer and Hannah. Dear brother of the late José and the late Maria de Lourdes. He will be remembered by his nephews and their families, as well as his extended family and friends. Hermano was born in Relva, São Miguel, Azores and immigrated to Canada in 1966. He was known for his quiet demeanour, as well as his commitment to his faith. He is now resting in the eternal hands of God. Special thanks to the kind staff at Billings Court Manor for their care over the past four years.

In accordance with current government restrictions and the prevailing COVID-19 protocols, the funeral service for Hermano is restricted to immediate family only. It will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery and Funeral Centre in Toronto on Monday February 22, 2021.
