HENRY EDWARD NEVILS

NEVILS, HENRY EDWARD of Scarborough passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Michael Garron Hospital on Wednesday February 5, 2020 in his 91st year. Henry was the loving husband to Shirley (nee Bailey), happily married for over 66 years. A proud and loving father to Kim (Brian), Mark, Kelly (Jim) and Bradley (Robyn), and loved by his devoted grandchildren Kallee, Holly, Sarah, Tara, Trevor, James and Danae and great grandchildren Kai and Paige. Predeceased by his 10 brothers and sisters. He will be forever missed by his family and friends both here and in Florida at Bayshore Windmill Village where he spent the last 25 years as a snowbird. He will truly be missed at the family cottage which he, alongside Shirley, built from the ground up with their own blood, sweat, and tears. An incredibly strong and generous man of many skills he was willing to help family, friends, or anyone in need however and whenever he could. Cremation will be on Tuesday February 11th with the immediate family.
A celebration of Henry’s life will be held at a later date for his family and friends. In lieu of flowers a donation may be provided to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Foundation.

Dear Shirley and family,

The Gauthier family are saddened by the passing of Henry, he was a good husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather & dear friend. It will be the little things that you will remember. The quiet moments, the smiles, and the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memory of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.

With love and hugs always, the Gauthier family
