Henri Ying Szeto, professional chef and ardent fan of Chinese chess, passed away peacefully at his residence at the age of 68.

He grew up in Canton, China. Immigrated to Hong Kong in 1960s. He and his parents lived on the Island for a few years, then subsequently immigrated to Toronto.

He was married to Elaine in 1985. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca and his wife, Elaine.

An avid player of Chinese chess throughout his life, he could often be found in the neighbourhood park playing a few rounds with his neighbours. His last game was the day before he passed away.

He will be greatly missed by his family, relatives, and friends.

Please join family and friends as we celebrate the life of Henri Y. Szeto on Sunday June 2, 2019. The memorial service will be held from 10am -12pm at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre.

Henri Ying Szeto，幼年在中国广州长大，1960年移民到香港。 他和父母亲
在港岛生活了几年，然后移民到多伦多。他是专业厨师和热心中国象棋的粉

他热爱中国象棋，经常与邻居在邻里公园玩几轮。 最后一场象棋是他去世的
前一天。

他的家人，亲戚和朋友都非常怀念他。

于2019年6月2日星期日，家人和朋友一起将有一场追悼会，回忆和纪念
Henri Y. Szeto生前的生活。追悼会于上午10点至12点在Mount Pleasant葬
礼中心举行。
