HENDRIKA MELLES Hendrika Melles was called to be with the Lord, on May 16, 2017 at the age of 83. Hennie passed away peacefully, surrounded by family members. A devoted mother, Hennie will be dearly missed by her five sons, David (Helen), Tony (Toula), Stephen (Sylvia), Peter (Angie) and Michael (Brenda). Hennie had a special relationship with her 11 grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Hennie and family lived for many years in London Ontario, later moving to Toronto. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto (at the east gate entrance, north of St. Clair Avenue, 416-485-5572). The service will be followed by a reception to celebrate Hennie's life and a family interment service at the Cemetery Conservatory. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a memorial donation to the VON Sakura House.
