Passed away suddenly at the family home in Toronto at the age of 84.
He came to Canada in 1957. Together mom and dad built a great life together.
Helmut was a master craftsman, story teller, tischler, inventor, sailor, skier, mentor and
so much more.
Helmut leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years Karin,
daughter Belinda (Tom),
son Gordon (Julie),
and six amazing grandchildren – Zachary, Morgan, Matthew, Allie, Jordan & Cindy.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.

Everyone on Grundy's Bay knew Helmut. He was the first to offer help and his help was always welcome because he always knew what he was doing. Stony Lake and everyone who knew Helmut will miss him but we will also think of Helmut when we our helping our neighbours.

Uncle Helmut was a wonderful, caring man. He was kind, funny, precise, an excellent photographer, a loving husband and father and most of all a great friend to our family. He will be sadly missed but always remembered!
