Passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa on June 17, 2023 at 86 years of age. Predeceased five months ago by her beloved husband Johann. Loving Mama of Angela (late Michael) and Helen (Mark). Devoted Oma of David, Kristen (Jordan) and Katie (Simon). Proud Great Oma of Sophia. Born in Germany to parents Martin and Charlotte (both predeceased) and raised by stepmother Erna (predeceased) after Helga's birth mom passed away. Cherished sister of Wolfgang, Dieter (both predeceased) and Martin Jr. In the1950's, Helga and her family immigrated to Canada to seek a better life. She met Johann in Toronto and they were married for 62 wonderful years. Helga loved being a wife and a mother to her two daughters. She enjoyed travelling with her husband which included many trips to visit family in Europe. A private family service has taken place. Those we love are never gone, for they live in our hearts forever.
