In memory of

Helen Saplis

August 26, 1951 -  December 10, 2018

Born in Vevi, Greece. Passed away in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 67.
Beloved wife to Tom Saplis for an amazing 49 years. Beautiful Mother to John and Michael (Renee) Saplis. Forever the Yiayia (grandmother) to Thomas, Maia, and Samuel. Daughter to Maria and the late Mitodis Novis. Sister to Nick (Linda) Novis, Freda (Peter) Nitchos, Christine (Sam) Pinatsis. She was the number one aunt to her nieces and nephews. Helen was a successful hairstylist owning her own business in Toronto (Helen’s House of Hair). She was a proud grandmother, loving mother, and wife. Looking after family, friends, and loved ones was what brought her the most joy and happiness and will remain as her legacy. She lived life with laughter and love and was taken from us too soon. She will be missed by all and never forgotten.

Tom and Family our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us each day, unseen and unheard, but always near. May Helen’s memory be eternal!

Dear Tom and Family - It was sad to hear of Helen’s passing which was much too soon. She was a free spirit growing up during the Monarch Park days and while we may have lost touch, it is good to hear that she continued to live her life with the same laughter and love. Scripture says "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted." We pray that God will bless all of you and give you the strength to carry on without her. With heartfelt sympathy
