In her 101st year, Helen passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital on December 7th, 2020.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles (1999), Helen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ken (Janice) and Peter (Janice).

Special Grandma to Mark, Craig and Darren (Xiaohui), Karen (Ryan Evoy) and Kathryn (Brian Lyons) and loved Great Grandma to Emma, Graham and Ronan, Zoey and Aubrey.

Helen was predeceased by her siblings, Tom, Bill, Margaret, Don, Pat, Vince and Ruth. Helen is survived by her sister, Jean Wylie.

After the death of her husband, Helen continued to live in the family home on LeMay Road in Toronto where she was surrounded and kindly supported by many neighbours and friends. At the age of 98, Helen moved from her house to The Millwood Retirement Residence where she was warmly welcomed and lovingly cared for until recent weeks.

A private family service will be held with a celebration of Helen’s life to follow, when gathering restrictions have been relaxed.
