In memory of

Helen Kasmetis

April 24, 1935 -  December 3, 2022

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of Helen Kasmetis at the age of 87 . On the morning of December 3rd , Helen passed away peacefully surrounded with loved ones by her side after her long battle with cancer .
Helen was a loving wife for over 68 years to Dan Kasmetis. Beloved mother to Michael, Georgina & Kathy. Appreciative mother in law to Jordan. Proud Baba to Joseph & Erin. Loving Aunt to Jim & Souli and their children Gabriel and Cyndi. Beloved Godmother to Olivia.
To friends & neighbors especially, closest neighbors Sherry & Helen along with their families who live beside her , she was known as Baba.
Baba was thankful for Jake the latest member of her household who lovingly cared for her & who will now continue that special care for Dedo Danny in her absence.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all .

Dear Danny & Georgina, Michael & Kathy and their families. We’re so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. She was a wonderful friend & neighbour and through her we got to know so many of our other neighbours throughout the area. She was always kind and welcoming to us and to our dogs (she was a true dog lover!) as we stopped to chat with her on our walks. Our dogs, Betty, Dove and Minxy were always so excited whenever I said, “Let’s go see Helen.” We will miss her very much. The neighborhood just won’t be the same without her.

To Helen’s beloved family, may sweet Baba rest in eternal peace. I only met her a couple of times through Erin, but even from the little I knew her she really made an impact on us (my parents and I). Such a thoughtful caring soul, immediately brought a smile to my face not only through her presence but even through the mere mention of her. She will be dearly missed. Our sincere condolences.
