In memory of

Heinz Luetjen

February 23, 1929 -  April 29, 2024

In Loving Memory
Peacefully and surely filled with immense joy, Heinz Luetjen was called to glory by his Lord and Saviour on Monday, April 29th. Following 95 years of a life filled with love for his family, his friends, and demonstrating faith & dedication to the word of God, Heinz has been reunited with his beloved Ruth. A steadfast Christian, Heinz was also a hardworking, caring and reliable man who thrived at helping others as he and Ruth lovingly raised their own family of 7 children after emigrating from Germany to Canada in 1954. Heinz carried that love forward to his 6 grandchildren whom he adored and nurtured with Bible stories, days in the park, and many bowls of ice cream. Missing him dearly are Lori Ann, Grace (Scott), Etta (Mark), David (Kellie), Hedy (Mike), Frank and Henry (Cindy), as are his Grandchildren, Oliver, Julia, Lucas, Daulton, Logan and Andrew. Heinz also leaves his sister Gunda and brother Horst and their families in Germany, who kept him close in their hearts despite being apart all those years.

Heinz and Ruth have been an inspiration and help to our family.
They have showed generosity to us for which we are grateful.
Their legacy lives on in their children, who have been blessed to have had such amazing role models.
