Passed away peacefully on July 2nd in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Irmgard. Loving father of Ingeborg (Chris) and Ron (Lucy). Grandfather of Kerstin and Jörg. Great grandfather of Aisha and Lisa. Dear brother of Helga (Erwin). A very special thank you to the staff and Chartwell Wynfield L.T.C. As per the family’s request no formal funeral service will be held. Arrangement entrusted to Thornton Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa ON 905-579-6787. Donations will be gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer’s Society or the charity of your choice.

When Ron played hockey for Oshawa Minor Reps I always enjoyed speaking to Heinz as we watched the kid's play. Heinz loved his hockey and was very supportive as a parent. Sincere condolences to the Duschl family on your loss.

Heinz was my Bathe park soccer coach 50 yrs ago and my barber until I moved away from Oshawa in 1980. Such a nice positive man. Rip and my condolences to his family.
