To Mrs Baunemann and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your very dear husband, father, and grandfather. Mrs. Baunemann, my deepest condolences to you. I know Dr. Baunemann loved you more than words can say. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Dr. Baunemann loved you all so much and was so proud of all of you. Dr. Baunemann loved bringing family pictures and would so proudly hang them up in his office. He would always joke that his precious granddaughter kept all the grandsons “in line”. I had the pleasure of knowing and assisting Dr. Baunemann with the procedures he did in clinic. I truly enjoyed assisting him. He was always respectful and appreciative, and would always say, “Thanks for your help, Josie”, before leaving. I feel like I am mourning the loss of a family member and I am so sad that I won’t see Dr. Baunemann coming through the clinic doors, sharply dressed, and as always, so eager to provide excellent care to all his patients. Dr. Baunemann was a perfectionist with a very high standard and he was trusted and loved by all who were blessed to know his truly genuine and caring nature. My son, Luciano also met Dr. Baunemann 8 yeats ago when he was just 11 years old. Luciano had come to the clinic on a “take your child to work day”. As soon as he met Dr. Baunemann it was as though he had met a family member. Dr. Baunemann felt the same way about Luciano. A couple of years ago at a clinic Christmas party, upon arrival, Luciano asked me, “Is Dr. Baunemann here?” The moment he spotted him, Luciano was so excited to go over to talk to him.....and that they did. Now 8 years later, Dr. Baunemann always said to me, “Luciano is a smart boy, and he is going to do well. Those little planes he flys scare me, but you have to let him do what he loves”. Luciano is so very sad to lose Dr. Baunemann as well. There are endless blessings we have all shared by knowing Dr. Baunemann, some of the most important are: love your family, friends, community, and find your passion, and pursue it with excellence...and until the end do it with the same ambition that you did at the beginning....never taking it for granted....never letting anything in life become complacent. Goodbye for now, Dr. Baunemann. I will truly miss you. Thank you for always appreciating my help and for the kindness you extended to Luciano. Mrs. Baunemann, and family you are in my thoughts and prayers. Dr Baunemann lives in all of you. Hugs and love, Josie and Luciano
