It is with heartbreaking sadness to let you know that Harry in his 66th year lost his battle with cancer with his wife Karen by his side on January 26 2018. Beloved husband and best friend to Karen, loved son of Mary, brother of John (Lee) and Wally (Marilyn), brother-in-law to John, Sandra, David and Janice, cherished uncle to Jay, Sarah (Rob), Mike (Lauren), Derrick (Jamie), Kalina, Rachel (Johnathon) and a great uncle to Anja and Reese, godfather to Angela and Kalina. Predeceased by his father Wally He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and friends. Harry was kind, selfless, and the most generous person. He loved camping and cottage life, his passion was sailing. He worked at IBM for 43 years before retiring on July 1st 2017. Harry's family is eternally grateful to the caring team of the Pallative Care unit at Princess Margaret hospital. Cremation has already taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE 625 Birchmount Rd. Scarborough (north of St Clair Ave, E, (416-267-8229) on Saturday, March 3rd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with the Interment before at 1:30 pm at Pine Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation in his name to Princess Margaret hospital or Sick Kids hospital would be appreciated.
