In memory of

Harry Hiroshi Tetaka

March 9, 1938 -  May 12, 2024

With gratitude for a long and healthy life, our family announces the peaceful passing of Hiroshi Harry Tetaka. His joy, laughter and spirit will be missed every day by his loving wife Matsuko, his children Cynthia and James, and his beloved grandson Kai.
Throughout his 86 years, he displayed a quiet strength, a gentle demeanor and a love for life. He never wavered in his support for us, and we are thankful for his hard work and dedication to make sure we had everything we needed, and more.
Our lives will not be the same without him. We will never stop sharing with Kai how wonderful he was, the strength and perseverance he showed throughout his life and how proud he was of his only grandchild.
Thank you to the nurses and staff in the dialysis unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital for the years of care of support. To Dr. Phillipe Toupin, Lorraine and Kay, thank you for making his final days exactly what he wanted.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

He had achieved a great deal for his family with his strong will and determination.
I heard that his life had not been easy throughout his young life not only survived hardship but helped his younger brothers and strived with his iron will and determination.
He was a proud person and had never complained the things or circumstances, he just worked it out through hard work. He had been an extremely hard worker.
Now, it is the time for you to rest and enjoy watching over your proud daughter, son and grandchild.
