Harold Lockhart

December 18, 1944 - March 23, 2017

With grace and dignity, Harold passed away on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 at the age of 72. Devoted husband of Bonnie (nee King) for 52 years. Beloved father of Jennifer. Formerly of Westville, Nova Scotia, Harold made his way to Toronto in 1960. In 1984, he founded Stoddard Silencers of Canada Inc. of which he was owner and President. Harold will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Monday, March 27th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 28th at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colon Cancer Canada.

So sorry to hear of Harold's passing. We very much enjoyed meeting him this past summer in Nova Scotia.

As you know, I have never looked at Harold with anything short of respect and admiration. Although we did compete to a degree on occasion, I thought of him more as a colleague and a part of the "silencer family" than a competitor. I feel privileged to have know him and will miss him but whenever I think of him I am sure the thoughts will bring a smile to my face.
